2012 Wipacolypse

I'm taking part in the 2012 WIPacolypse that Measi is hosting.  You can still join by leaving a comment here until the 15th.  I'm hoping to clear out several of my WIPs by the end of the year!

Since the full moon is the 9th, I'm posting a picture of my New Year's start which is on my WIPacolypse list.  this is Chatelaine's 2012 Mystery The Deep Blue Sea.  This part is supposed to be a plankton.  I converted all the silks to HDF.  You can find the list under the conversions tab.  I'm making slow progress but I'm still missing one of the fibers from ABCstitch.  I e-mailed them last weekend and got a very unsatisfactory response.  I'll have to try them again see if anything has changed since were a week past New Years.

For now though, I'm off to fold a load of laundry, get another one started and stitch my little heart out for a couple more hours since DH is working today and my little guys are off playing at one of the neighbors.

Later!

I will not waiver, I will not waiver, I will not waiver.

No still not going to give in and sign up for it. I don't care how gorgeous your stitching is I am still not doing it!

Seriously, it really does look gorgeous. The blues are amazing.

Great start! I never did a Chatelaine because of the very expensive threads it calls for, but now that I found your conversions I can finally start one! Thank you for sharing you conversions.

It's lovely, Sarah. I love the colors in that, especially on the black.

I can't wait to see this come together - I think this will end up in the stash before the year's out :) Though I think I'll have to go a deep blue or blue-green - not sure I could hack a big one on black :)

Your Deep Blue Sea looks amazing. I take my hat off to you for stitching a Chatelaine on black, but I can already see that it is going to stunning.

Stunning colors and design. The dark background really makes them pop!
