 This is my last regular post of 2023 and would you believe there are still WIPs to update.

Friday, the border of Sarah Rickwood met!  I was already on the struggle bus with her but I added a length of the pink of the strawberries in the border and love how it just seems to glow on this fabric!

Chatelaine's Hawaiian Garden Mandala came out next to see how far I could get in a day and a bit.  Not bad.  I'm hoping to make more progress yet this afternoon/evening before it gets put away.

I've already taken all the WIPs that had been hanging out for some live and put them away along with the possible new starts.  Then I pulled the WIPs that will get some love every month, some for a 2024 finish, others to move them along for a 2025 finish.

I'll be posting a 2023 review and a 2024 plans post tonight or tomorrow morning along with my planned New Year, New Start.

I didn't finish page 13 of Warrior Alice like I'd wanted but I it a point where I didn't want to work on her any more for the time being.  Since I don't want to burn out on her, I listened.

So what do I stitch next?

I decided a break from the full coverage would probably be a good idea since I'm planning to focus on three more older full coverage charts in 2024 with another two or three coming out every month for 1000 tent stitches or so.

In November Running With Scissors and Needles offered a free download of a sampler for her birthday.  I'd previously ordered the kit so I decided to start her Sarah Rickwood.

She's a lovely long skinny sampler.

 After I finished page 9 of Warrior Alice,  I pulled out Growth Rings.  Sadly I couldn't get into it like I was hoping I would, but I made a little progress. 

A friend suggested I just pull Alice back out and I'm hoping to finish page 13 before I go back to work Thursday. 

Saturday my husband and I went to a local antique mall and I found a couple of samplers I would have loved to pick up and a couple more that were not something I'm interested in but still pretty.

 After finishing up my Christmas Ornaments, Alice came back out to finish the last page in row two.  I'm not quite there, but maybe tonight.

I'm not sure what will come out next.  Maybe Loara to get started on the next band?  Maybe a new start?

 I've finished up the last of the Christmas ornaments for this year.  These two are for a mother/daughter stitchy duo I'm meeting for a stitchy day tomorrow.

Tonight, I'll be working on finishing my last two Christmas ornaments.

 Part 2 of Serenity Harbor,  finished 11/30

Then I started a couple of ornaments that I made into biscornus.  I gave this one to my boss today at lunch.

I've finished the snowflake for another one.  I'm meeting a couple of stitchers for an afternoon later this month so I have a deadline.

 After finishing Mermaid of the Deep SK, I struggled to get into a groove.

I added a few stitches into Blue Moroccan Lace; not as many as I wanted, but a few.

I also started No Place Like Home from Unconventional XStitch

I added a length of 939 and still struggled.

Master came back out Saturday afternoon and I'm getting closer to finishing page 26

I don't think a page finish is doable tonight, but tomorrow is pretty certain.

 I have finished Mermaid of the Deep!

 My focus on finishing Master and Mermaid of the Deep SK seems to be tight enough that I'm struggling to focus on anything else.

I've met my goal on Celtic Snow

And I've picked Heritage Sampler back up for a little progress

Next was Plague Doctor

And today was Game of Swannes

At least I'm almost through all of WIPs so they're not hanging over my head.

 I've finished page 11 of Warrior Alice.

I need to finish pages 9 and 10 to complete my original goal for this year.  I think I'll split them in Nov/Dec so I don't burn out on all the confetti that is in those two pages.

Celtic Snow came out next.  I really wanted to make a lot of progress on this but one motif and I had to move on.

Now I'm debating between one of the two WIPs I haven't touched yet or maybe pulling out Loneliness of Autumn again.

 Since I met my goal with Mermaid of the Deep,  I've pulled out Her Private Garden for a little love which met my goal.

Then Dragon Lord came back out and I've managed to finish page 2 which met my original goal for it.

Now, I think Warrior Alice will come back out to see if I can finish the page I was working on

 Page 25 of Master was completed 9/8/23

With approximately 1200 stitches left to keep my monthly goal, here's where I ended up.

I've found the bottom left corner which tells me my fabric was plenty big! 

I'm debating whether to pull out Mermaid of the Deep SK for her monthly bit or to pull Dragon Lord to finish at least page 2.  I guess we'll both be surprised.

I've touched a few more WIPs in September.  I probably won't meet the goal I set for some of them at the beginning of the year but hopefully I'll manage to spend some time with each and every one.

I finished the color I was working on in the current section of Convent Herbal Garden.

Best Friends was next.  The page felt huge compared to some I've been working on.  Next time it comes out I may be able to add another color to the page.

Then Cider Dragon was up.  I added a couple of colors Across the top of the chart.

 

Next is Dragon Lord.

I havent met my goal on this one yet and I think I'll be coming back to finish page 2 in October.   

First is my monthly progress on Master and Mermaid of the Deep SK.

 I thought I would be able to make all kinds of progress on Alice and maybe meet my original goal bit for now that isn't going to happen.

 Maybe I'll revisit her before the end of the year?

Autumn Quaker was out next and I added a few motifs.

Then Ann Bowers.  

 I'm not sure how I feel about her.  It could be the colors, it could be the fabric, ot could be the fact the pre-cut DMC is so short or it could be a combination of everything.   For now, she's gotten some progress.

Lastly,  Convent Herbal Garden.

Not a lot of progress yet but I'll give it a little time.

 I've been happily stitching away and have met some goals.

The Forgotten from Charting Creations has gotten some love.  Not as much as I would have liked but I put it on my q-snaps and just wasn't feeling it.  Something else was calling.

Next was Sarah Elizabeth Brooke from The Scarlett House.  1x1 on 40ct is something else.  But there's less of it for next time.

Then Sarah Breazier from HATS.  I added two pages and finished out the top row.

She's a big girl!

 

Then Jane Fiddes also from HATS came out.  Again not a lot of love but she got a little progress.

This morning, I pulled out Warrior Alice from Eclectic Bloke (OOP).  Instead of starting on page 8, where I left off, I started on page 12 on the far right, in the background.  I'm not ready for the confetti in Alice's dress so background it is.
