 I've been struggling this week.  I think pushing hard to finish Master and Mermaid of the Deep SK gave me mild delusions of being able to finish several full coverage WIPs and stitching on several more every month to finish in 2025.  In fact, I think I've almost managed to send my stitchy bug on vacation which it's not allowed to do until I travel for work next month.

Right now, I'm thinking of backing off most of my really big goals.  I'm going to keep He Came With the Rain as a finish this year.  But I think SK Rose on Fire and Nightshade's goals are going to come way down and may be just 500 full x every month or just 500 full x for the year.  It all depends on how I'm feeling about them.

I managed to add 684 tent stitches to The Loneliness of Autumn then found I was a stitch off from the first day or so I'd pulled the WIP out.  I'm debating whether to frog or fudge.  At this point, I'm thinking of making sure I'm correct vertically and adding new stitches where they're supposed to be and fudging the rest.

Here's where it is now.

While LoA is in time out, I pulled out Winter Rose Manor for a change of pace.  I didn't manage to add anywhere near what I wanted for a weekend, but I didn't do too bad Saturday.  Sunday was pretty much a bust.

I'd like to finish this page before I move on but we'll see how that works out.

 1134 stitches added to complete my January goal on Sea Witch.   She's now at 31.31% complete.

Out next is The Loneliness of Autumn

 Nightshade's stitches seemed to be never ending this month.  I may have to change my planned finish date but for now, we'll stick with 2024.

I've added 3023 stitches and with the unstirched black background,  she's at 90.43% complete.

1/15/24

 I'm about halfway through my January stitches and I've already added more than I have in years.  I think part of my hang up is which black stitches to leave and which to actually stitch.  So far so good.

January goal met on He Came With the Rain, 5056 tent stitches/2528 full x, now at 39.47 % complete

I've also met January Goal on Warrior Alice with 1066 tent/533 full x - 32.55% complete

1/8/24 update

 I probably should have just waited to post this morning, but here we are.

I've finished page 10 of He Came With the Rain from Unconventional XStitch and it's now at 37.35% complete

Page 11 won't be too long since I've been stitching over two pages so far since that's where the colors went.

 I'm currently working on He Came With the Rain from Unconventional XStitch.  I'd hoped to have a page finish but the confetti in the hair is real.  Hopefully it will come tonight since I'm pretty close.

Since I've been pretty much working across two pages with her face, I'm hoping to get a second page finish quikly.

Most of my WIPs have minimal goals this year since I'm going to focus on finishing several older WIPs.  My New Year, New Start - QS Voodoo in Violet is no exception. My goal for it was 500 full x / 1000 tent stitches and last night I met that goal.

Who knew that corner was so green?
