Page 4

Tuesday night saw the end of page 4 of Old European Sampler.

I'm working on page 5 and hope to have it done in the next night or so.

Once that's done, I think I'm going to pull out Chatelaine's Polar Mandala for the weekend and a little color before the 100 day HAED challenge starts and I go to reds.

Almost a page finish

I almost finished page 4 last night.  I'm hoping tonight will see it done then I will start on page 5 so the next time I pick this sampler up, I will be starting the next row.

I think I've decided to take part in the 100 Days of HAED challenge on Facebook.  I'm planning on pulling Lust out and see how far I can get.

A page finish

Saturday night, I finished page 3 of Old European Sampler.  I really like how quickly this one stitches up because of the pattern repeats.

I would have made more progress but I got sidetracked into working on the bathroom in the basement.  The boys were outside weeding the garden in 90+ degrees so I'll take the basement.  I'm not fast and I'm very messy, but I do eventually

I'm planning on sanding in the next couple of nights so I can add the next coat of mud and make more progress.  But that takes away from my stitchy time so it may wait until next weekend.

A couple of projects

I worked on Sea Witch until I reached my limit on black for a couple of days.  

Then I pulled out Steve Rousseau's Old European Sampler that was a freebie at one time though Needleprint.  If anyone knows if this is still available anywhere, please let me know.  I have a friend who would like to stitch it.

Here's my progress over the weekend.  Not much, but there is progress.

A Finish!

I had thought to finish Garden Verses last night but there will still 200+ stitches in the border before I got to the feathered pen!  Since I bring my stitching to work to pull out over lunch, I finished at the end of my lunch hour.  

HAED's Sea Witch is next out.  This one is on 28 ct Monaco I dyed 2x1 tent.  Page three is mostly black so I'm hoping I can get to a page finish soonish.
