I've met a couple more goals this month.
I've added 665 stitches to Convent's Herbal Garden
I've met my goal for Celtic Snow from Northern Expressions Needlework with 680 stitches. I've finished the top border less the corners.
Chatelaine's Convent Herbal Garden is out next.
March's goal met for Chatelaine's Hawaiian Garden with 1259 stitches. I've also completed the bottom quarter of part 5.
While I realize it's probably going to take the at least another month to two month to get the last quarter of part 5 done, I'm starting to get excited to start the landscape panels.
Her Private Garden is out next. I should be able to see another page finish with this month's stitching on it.
March's goal is met for Sea Witch with 2184 tent/1092 full x stitches and 42.46% complete
Hawaii is going to come back out to meet the remaining 500 stitches of its goal.
I've met my March goal for SS Daybreak with 2074 tent/1037 full x stitches. It's now 4.44% complete.
Chatelaine's Hawaiian Garden Mandala is out next.
And here's another page finish. This time its page 4 of SS Daybreak. Its now 4.33% complete.
I need to add another 800-ish stitches into page 5 to meet my March goal.
I've met my March goal and completed 4038 tent/2019 full x stitches for Warrior Alice which brings her to 76.77% complete.
Monday, I met my March goal for Harriett Godhard from HATS with 683 stitches
Yesterday was a very productive day. I met up with the Cornhusker State Stitchers for some stitchy fun. We've made plans for some new starts with the upcoming Nashville releases. I think we're planning to start Plum Street Samplers Pledge of Allegiance first and I've asked Vicki at Hand-Dyed Fibers if she would convert everything to silk. Now I just need to go pull some fabric.
Yesterday, I've also met my goals for Louisa Coulimore from Hands Across the Sea with 507 stitches. I've officially finished the alphabets and have started the second half the sampler.
I've met my 2026 goal for Game of Swannes from Ling Dog with 587 stitches and 16.99% complete
Louisa Coulimore from Hands Across the Sea is out next.
Tonight, I've met my goal for Chatelaine's Evening in the Park with 711 stitches.
I've met my goal for Il Bosco di Bengtsson with 1050 stitches
March's Window view in Stitches from Stitches and Cutz is finished!
I've finished page 16 of Sea Witch and it's now 41.48% complete.
I've met my February goal for Chatelaine's Hawaiian Garden with 1005 stitches.
I had an awesome stitchy day yesterday. I added 2440 tent stitches which meant I completed my February goal for Warrior Alice with 4100 tent/2050 full x stitches and 74.06% complete.
I've met my February goal for Heritage Sampler with the second row of personalization and 391 stitches.
Friday, I met my February goal for SS Daybreak with 2324 tent/1162 full x stitches which made it 4.17% complete.
I've finished stitching the February part of Harriet Godhard with 676 stitches.
The final goal I met in January is for Chatelaine's Polar Mandala.
I added 1171 stitches and milled in the upper left corner. I need to work on this more or I'm going to be working on the center forever. After I meet all of my goals this year, this is a WIP I plan to bring out again for some more love.
Harriet Godherd 1817 from HATS is out now to complete the section of the chart assigned from the Facebook group Our Sampler Years - Yesterday's Needlework for Today.
I've met my goal for Chatelaine's Blue Moroccan Lace. I don't know why I struggle with this one so much. Maybe because I printed off the central part of the chart from the black and white chart? I opened the pdf this time on my kindle so I could just have it open and it did seem to go better. Something to think about next time it's out.
This time, I added 772 stitches.
Yesterday, I met my goal for The Forgotten from Charting Creations with 1082 tent/541 full x stitches. This WIP is now 15.94% complete.
Yesterday, I pulled out the personalization id started for Heritage Sampler and added it to my WIP. I also started charting the next rows but didn't have it in me to start stitching them. There's seven rows, room for a couple of lines at the bottom and beads to go. I don't think I need to push to finish, so I'll probably just work one line per month for now.
It didn't take as long as I thought it would to meet my goal for SS Daybreak this month as I thought it would. Yay block stitching!
I've added 2030 tent/1015 full x stitches and 3.84% complete.
I've met my January goal for Chatelaine's Hawaiian Garden Mandala with 1003 stitches. I finished part 5 on the right side and started the same part on the bottom. In February, I'm debating whether to finish the borders on the left first or just finish the bottom part then moving to the left.
One would think 2030 tent stitches /1015 full x stitches would have gotten me closer to a page finish. Alas, it was not to be this month. Sea Witch is now 40.97% complete.
The colors of the witch's face look a little scary right now, but once everything around it is in, it should look more "natural". This is a witch though.
Saturday, I met my January goal for Her Private Garden with 2164 tent/1082 full x stitches and 7.45% complete.
I've finally met my January goal for Warrior Alice with 4002 tent/2001 full x stitches and 71.3% complete. I didn't quite complete page 30 but it will be waiting for me in February.
Page 29 of Warrior Alice has been a little slow. I've worked remote for the last five years which has given me an extra 30 minutes before and after work to stitch. Now, the powers that be have decided it's necessary to work in the office three days per week and that has definitely cut into my stitchy time along with the whole peopling thing. It's hard on my poor introverted heart.
But, I've managed to finish page 29 and she's now 70.17% complete.
Alice was supposed to be what I've been working on this week, but I was distracted by block colors for a shop model. I'm about halfway done with this one and am looking forward to getting it off my plate.
Alice is out now for some love.
I've met my January goal for Harriet Godhard. Thankfully the parts are small and very manageable.
Instead of a ginormous new start for January 1, 2026, I decided on a small-ish sampler that I've had kitted for a while. When I opened up the fabric to see if it was zig-zagged, I discovered past me had also found the upper left corner starting point. So, I will be starting Harriet Godhard 1817 from Hands Across the Sea on 46 ct Vintage Cream from Dixiesamplar Hand-Dyed Fabrics with the silks converted to HDF.
