I forget how fast smaller pages go.

Page 3 of He Came With the Rain finsihed 4/25/2020.

I'm really loving Pattern Keeper!

Saturday morning, I bobbinated the DMC for Mary Clayton from Hands Across the Sea with the intention of starting her.

But no.  My Old European Sampler came back out of the bag and made some very nice progress over the weekend.

By early Saturday afternoon, I'd finished the interior rows of stitching and started on the edge of the page.

My current progress is looking good!

I'm hoping to finish this page tonight and get a big start on the next page.  I was considering a new start with Mary but I think I'm going to try to change random starts into a type of reward with every five goals met.  Page 10 of this project either gets me to that or a goal short.  I'll have to double check.  I'm enjoying this project again which is a bonus and will probably keep it out until I'm not anymore.

4/20/2020

I had another page finish on Old European Sampler on Thursday and started page 9 and discovered I needed to put it away for a while.

I pulled out Shepherd's Bush stocking I'm working on for my youngest and even got it into the qsnaps, ready to go, and just stared at it.

Blue Moroccan Lace was up next.  I got 100 or so stitches into it and thats all I wanted to do.

After:

Then I pulled out He Came With the Rain.  I've managed almost 1200 tent stitches this weekend.  The pages from this company are small so I'm really hoping to finish this page by the end of the week.  I would like to at least get halfway through page 4 before I put this away.

I've been thinking about a couple things I'd like to start.  I've got the English Whitework Sampler from The Needles Prayse all kitted up and ready to go.  I also got Mary Clayton from Hands Across the Sea kitted and ready.  The Whitework Sampler's cut work scares me but I need to do some and get past that.  I have some more challenging pieces in my stash that have been there for a while and need to see the light of day.

I finished page 7 last night then got a good start on the bottom of the top band.  This page seems to be skinnier than the last one so I'm hoping it doesn't take as long.

So close!

I'm hoping to finish this page tonight.

I really like that last band.  Kind of a pain to stitch but the result is lovely.

4/1/2020

I started this 1/1/2020 and just haven't had the urge to go back to it.  As I've watched the progression of the pattern on Facebook, I'm glad I haven't picked it back up.  I'll probably frog it and put the fabric and silk back into stash for another project.

I'm still working on Old European Sampler from Steve Rousseau via the old Needleprint blog.  I'm hoping for a page finish in the next couple of days.
