1/29/26

I've met my goal for Chatelaine's Blue Moroccan Lace.  I don't know why I struggle with this one so much.  Maybe because I printed off the central part of the chart from the black and white chart?  I opened the pdf this time on my kindle so I could just have it open and it did seem to go better.  Something to think about next time it's out.

This time, I added 772 stitches.

Polar Mandala is out to try to add 1000 stitches before the end of the month.

I didn't quite get my final goal of April met, but I've completed it this morning with a total of 504 stitches for Blue Moroccan Lace from Chatelaine.

Renato Parolin's Il bosco di Bengtsson is up next.

After finishing Mermaid of the Deep SK, I struggled to get into a groove.

I added a few stitches into Blue Moroccan Lace; not as many as I wanted, but a few.

I also started No Place Like Home from Unconventional XStitch

I added a length of 939 and still struggled.

Master came back out Saturday afternoon and I'm getting closer to finishing page 26

I don't think a page finish is doable tonight, but tomorrow is pretty certain.

11/21/22

Chatelaine's Blue Moroccan Lace has been out for about a week and Rhine I haven't made as much progress as I would have liked, it's still moving forward.

I think Sea Witch is coming back out again  next.

I forgot to share progress on a couple of WIPs last week

I've been struggling a little bit to pick a WIP and stick with it.  I don't know if it's because I decided I needed to touch all my WIPs before the end of the year, because I want to finish Earth Song next year or because I've finished kitting up Sarah Braizear and want to start her, or a combination of those.

Anyway, here's the progress I made on Chatelaine's Blue Moroccan Lace over the last couple of nights.

And I've made a little more progress on Charting Creations Wolf Totem
but I've miscounted in a couple places so there is frogging to be done.

I've made progress on Earth Song, but I think I spent more time looking at it over the last week than I did actually stitching on it.  So, it's taking a break.  I have made it to the edge of the page so progress has been made, I just can't stay focused on it.

Yesterday, I pulled out M. Woods 1759 by Milady's Needle.  I've had this kitted with a custom HDF conversion since 2013.  I originally kitted it with three different shade of white in Kingston linen.  Since 46ct linen has hit my radar, I have a piece from xJuDesign that I decided to use.

Here's how far I got yesterday.

The linen might be a little dark, but I like it.

9/23/19

I finished three stripes of Star Spangled Banner this week.  For some reason this one is super slow going for me.  It took all day yesterday to finish stripe 6.  But I love the result!  One more new band then they repeat.

Once I put Star Spangled Banner away, Blue Moroccan Lace came out.  I haven't worked on a Chatelaine for a while and it was time.  Here was my progress last night.

I'm still happy with my fabric choice even though it was way different than my normal choices.

3/26/18 update

I guess my stitchy bug has taken a vacation so I've been bouncing from project to project trying to find one to catch my attention.

Here's where I left Blue Moroccan Lace.

And I picked up Earth Song.  I am not in the mood for over 1 right now, especially on 25 ct Lugana.
Before:

After.  I think I may have put in a couple hundred stitches.

When I went downstairs to dig through my WIPs I originally pulled Old European Sampler but I couldn't find the pattern.  So it became a choice between Chatelaine's Hawaiian Mandala and The Heritage Sampler.  Hawaii won out.  It has to be warm there, right?

Change of WIPs!

I think I've mentioned before that this tax season is besting my mojo.  Last week, I think I managed around 25 stitches on Garden Verses.  So I pulled her off the qsnaps and put her away for now.  Instead of Earth Song, I pulled out Chatelaine's Blue Moroccan Lace.  I didn't do a lot, but more than I did last week.

Here's where I left Garden Verses

Here's where I picked up Blue

and where it is now.

Dang, it's hot out there!

I think summer is here, with a vengeance!!  It's supposed to be 100 degrees here today and that's before you account for humidity.  Yuck!

Last weekend was hot but Saturday morning, we brought this lovely home from where it's been stored.  I would really love to get it running again and be able to drive it.

This is where Blue Moroccan Lace is right now.  I spent 30 minutes last night trying to decide on the next color to add and put it away.  Lust came back out instead.

Blue Moroccan Lace

I've made some slow progress on Blue Moroccan Lace over the last week.  We've had a baseball tournament which has slowed me down!

Decisions...

Since Photobucket is being a pain and wants to charge a lot of money to be able to use their photo sharing ability with blogger, I need to look for a new photo hosting service.  Does anyone have any suggestions?

Anyway,  I finally made it to the end of the row I was working on in Heritage Sampler.

At that point, I needed a change  of scenery so I pulled out Star Spangled Banner from Northern Expressions Needlework.  I finished the stripe I had been working on last time it was out and started the next white stripe.  I was having problems with stitch placement so I started the next red stripe.  At that point, I decided I'd had enough of all specialty stitches.

Yesterday, I'd also worked on finishing kitting up Chatelaine's Blue Moroccan Lace Mandala.

Here's what I've got.  My helper approved!

I hope to get a start on this tonight but there's baseball, so maybe.
