 It's been a busy couple of days.

Friday, I met my goal for Ann Bowers from The Examplary with 535 stitches

Saturday Morning, I met my goal on Anna Sophia Bircham from HATS with 521 stitches

They're kind of hard to see, but they are there, I promise!

Then I met up with The Cornhusker State Stitchers and we started Pledge of Allegiance from Plum Street Samplers

I'm stitching mine on 40 ct Prehistoric from Fox & Rabbit with the HDF conversion with a couple of tweaks to one of the greens and the blue.  Here's where I left off yesterday.

Today, I've met my goal for Cider Dragon with 1078 tent/539 full x stitches and 12.39% complete

Now, I'm working on Come Into My Garden from Blackbird Designs with hopes that I'll be able to meet my goal for that one tonight which leaves time for at least one more tomorrow.

Ive met my goal on Ann Bowers from The Examplarery.  

I'm glad I decided to keep Ann last year.  Ive really started to enjoy working on her.

Sea Witch is out next.

 

7/23/24

 Goal met for Ann Bowers with 540 stitches.

I've struggled with Ann since I started her, I think mostly since I'm using the kit materials and the floss is cut in much shorter lengths than I prefer.  I enjoyed her much more this time so I hope that continues.

Sarah Elizabeth Brook is next.

 I thought I would be able to make all kinds of progress on Alice and maybe meet my original goal bit for now that isn't going to happen.

 Maybe I'll revisit her before the end of the year?

Autumn Quaker was out next and I added a few motifs.

Then Ann Bowers.  

 I'm not sure how I feel about her.  It could be the colors, it could be the fabric, ot could be the fact the pre-cut DMC is so short or it could be a combination of everything.   For now, she's gotten some progress.

Lastly,  Convent Herbal Garden.

Not a lot of progress yet but I'll give it a little time.

7/20/22

Polar Mandala from Chatelaine made an appearance .  The center is now about 1/4 complete.  The rest should go quicker though since that bottom left corner has a lot of color changes and rest is more blocks of color.

Then I've not been able to settle on something g to stitch.

Ann Bowers has been out and saw a little progress.

I started restitching TW"s The Castle.  I originally stitched those 30ish years ago.  It was framed and hung over my son's crib when it was taken by a tornado.  It's taken almost 20 years for me to decide to restitch.  I didn't get much of a start but its ready when I am.

Finally Chatelaine's Evening in the Park came out and felt pretty good so I hope to continue with it.

 

3/22/21

 I finished my second volcano on Hawaii Saturday.

I am planning on coming back to Hawaii this year but not right now.

Ann Bowers from The Examplarery was out next. 

I have a hard time getting into a rhythm with this since the kit threads are cut too short IMO.  But progress is progress.

Next out is HATS Sarah Breazier.
