 576 stitches added to Mermaid of the Deep SK, now at 89.84%

9/12/23

 I've met my September goal of Mermaid of the Deep.  She's now 83.26% complete.

Then I pulled The Forgotten from Carting Creations.  Not a lot of progress but I've met my goal.

8/16/23

On 8/11/23 for World Cross Stitch Day, I started Serenity Harbor from By The Bay Needlearts.  It's stitched on 40ct HDF linen with DMC

I probably would have made it further, but I needed to move it on the qsnaps to center it but then it just came off to rotate to Sarah Redfearn from The Scarlett House.

I didn't make a huge amount of progress, but the flowers in the border are finished for the first page so the next time it's out, I should be able to finish it.

I've added 716 stitches to Mermaid of the Deep SK to complete my monthly stitching goal.  She's now 76.1% complete.

Now, Polar Mandala from Chatelaine is out.  I'm still working on that over one center and am considering adding part 1 to my planned 2024 finishes.

 Monday, I met my June Goal on Mermaid of the Deep SK.  She's now 60.74% complete

Then Playing with Jax came out and I've met my goal with the center pumpkin.

Now, I'm looking at Ann Grimshaw.  I'm bot sure how much progress she'll get, but as long as it's forward progress, I'm happy.

5/24/23

 I finished the bottom half of Un Ricomo per Rinascere Monday.

Then took a short break to make my May stitches on Mermaid of the Deep SK.  Since I've raided the bobbin box for this one over the years, I've been digging though other kits to find the thread.  Reminder to self:  don't raid the box.

Next month, I should finish up her face and move more into her body.  Once I make it through her body, the rest of the chart should move fairly quickly **knock on wood** since it is just a couple of colors.

I've pulled Rose on Fire SK out to get some stitches in and meet my goal for this year.  Then, I plan on pulling the Mira back out to finish her.

 Sunday, I met my March goal on Mermaid of the Deep SK

After chatting with a friend, Sea Witch has come back out for a break from the light colors of The Master.   Over the last couple of days, I've added more than 2000 tent stitches.

 Added 867 stitches to complete my February Goal.  She is now 29.73% complete

1/18/23

 Over the last couple of nights, I've added 849 stitches to Mermaid of the Deep SK and met my goal on it for January. 

Next, I've pulled out Airships and Floating Castle (OOP) from Tilton Crafts to work on for maybe a page finish.  

I think my goal on it for this year is to just add some stitches which I've done.  But, we'll see how far I get after a few pages.  I would like to get some stitching into Chatelaine's Heritage Sampler this month as well so I'll just have to see where I get.

1/16/23

 I met my January Goal for The Master today.  I've added 9162 tent stitches which equal 4581 full cross for 28.82% complete.

 I'm putting this away until February.   I really don't want to burn out on this so I can finish this year.

Next up is another old WIP that I'm trying to finish but it is much smaller.  This is Mermaid of the Deep SK. It was a SAL on the old HAED BB in 2010, I think. 

I only want to add about 500 stitches this month which should be easy enough to do and move onto another WIP
