I've met three more goals in the last day or so.

Sarah Breazier's goal was met with 542 stitches

Jane Fiddes' goal was met with 514 stitches

and I've met my goal on Growth Rings with 690 stitches.

Ann Bowers is out next for her stitches.

Jane Fiddes' goal is met with 615 stitches.

I made it though all the colors in the top two rows of alphabets.  The next time this one comes out there's a border and the other I stills to go along with the big "F"

Growth Rings from Ink Circles is out next.

9/19/23

I've been happily stitching away and have met some goals.

The Forgotten from Charting Creations has gotten some love.  Not as much as I would have liked but I put it on my q-snaps and just wasn't feeling it.  Something else was calling.

Next was Sarah Elizabeth Brooke from The Scarlett House.  1x1 on 40ct is something else.  But there's less of it for next time.

Then Sarah Breazier from HATS.  I added two pages and finished out the top row.
She's a big girl!

Then Jane Fiddes also from HATS came out.  Again not a lot of love but she got a little progress.

This morning, I pulled out Warrior Alice from Eclectic Bloke (OOP).  Instead of starting on page 8, where I left off, I started on page 12 on the far right, in the background.  I'm not ready for the confetti in Alice's dress so background it is.

9/9/22

Along with a lot of other stitchers, I've been thinking about 2023.  Since I use this blog as kind of a diary to see how far I've come on any particular project during the course of a year or since I started it, it's not hard to look back and think about what I want to accomplish in the coming year.

Right now, I'm thinking of pulling some of my oldest WIPs to focus on.  Loara Standish was started in 2013 as was The Master.  So, that's a sampler and a full coverage piece.  The Heritage Sampler is my oldest Chatelaine and I'm starting to see the light at the end of the tunnel.  If I leave the rest of my WIPs goals as just to be touched, I may be able to finish or make some very big progress.

I've joined the 2023 Focus on a Finish event with Full Coverage Fanatics on Facebook with The Master.  It's currently at 22.17% with 107170 stitches to complete.  This means, I would have to add at least 8931 stitches per month.  Since I'm stitching this one tent, that means only about 4466 stitches.  Totally doable, right?  That would leave me time to work on the other three WIPs.

Loara was started as a reversible sampler.  I've gotten hung up on trying to keep my pin stitches invisible on 56ct fabric.  I think I've decided to keep the front neat but not worry so much about the back since I don't even know how I'd frame it to show off the reversible stitching.  I think finished and on the wall is a better goal.

Right now, I'm still working on meeting my 2022 goals.  Will I meet them?  I think most of them.  I want to add 2 pages to Sea Witch and have only managed 21 stitches on it this year.  So that one is a maybe.  The rest of them are mostly to at least touch the WIP and add some stitches which is totally doable.  I have 9 WIPs that have that goal.  Wolf Totem has a goal of 500 stitches which is at worst just a few night's work.

I'm currently working on the last page of my goal on He Came With the Rain.  Hopefully, I can manage that in the next week or so.  Here's where I am now.

On 8/5, I started Ann Roberts from Hands Across the Sea.  She'd been whispering to me for a while so I'm not sure why we stalled out but here's my start

I'm working backwards here, but on 9/1 I started Playing With Jax by The Cricket Collection.  I had most of the DMC and borrowed a few I was missing from some other kits.  I'm still missing a couple even after a trip to Michaels.  Once I got to one of those colors, I kind of stalled on Jax too.  One of the colors, I substituted with one of the other called for DMCs.

Jane Fiddes has been out for a little love recently.

I have a few more starts planned for September.  And They Sinned by The Samplar Dames is kitted and ready along with The Smith Sampler, Sarah Elizabeth Brook and Jane Charlottle Wynn all by the Scarlett House.  Pour La Fete by Lindsay Lane Designs, MH 1656 by HATS and Alice Bierton by Samplers Remembered are in the same pile along with Promise To Heart from Tilton Crafts.  Best Friends from HAED is out too but that is slated for a December start.  I don't know what will or won't be started or worked on right now since making plans is a good way to not want to work on a particular project.  We'll have to play it by ear.

4/18/21

After Sarah Breazier,  Game of Swannes from Long Dog came out.  I made some nice progress on it.

Next, I pulled out Jane Fiddes from HATS for progress and couldn't get into her.  But any forward progress is good.

Finally,  Sea Witch has been out for the last couple of weeks and I'm around 3000 stitches from finishing this page

7/9/2020

I've made quite a lot of progress over the last week or so.  I finished page 5 of Earth Song

Then I took a short break from it and started Jane Fiddes 1835 from Hands Across the Sea.  My border matched up!

Now I'm back to Earth Song on page 9, hoping for another page finish yet this month.
