Loneliness of Autumn is out next.

9/26/24

Last night, I met my September goal for Elizabeth Hall with 718 stitches.

I got started on her name and then I was over stitching 1x1 on 46ct for now.
Next month, I'll just need to finish her name and school, all over one, and she'll be done.

The Forgotten from Charting Creations is next.

I'm also looking at what I want to do for the rest of the year.  I've been working through my WIPs again but there isn't a chance that I'll be able to work through all of them, again, before the end of the year and trying to actually meet that goal is going to push some burnout.

So, I'm thinking about finishing the goal on The Forgotten since it's already out and I've added stitches this morning.  Then, I'm going to take all my WIPs, other than the ones with monthly goals, put them all back in order so I can find whatever takes my fancy and just pull whatever I want to stitch.  Will I keep the 500 full x goal?  Probably, it seems to work pretty well for me.  Maybe I'll pull a sampler and just see how close to finishing I can get it?  Dunno.

Since I should be finishing He Came With the Rain in October, I'm also thinking about increasing the monthly stitching I'm doing for The Loneliness of Autumn and Warrior Alice in Nov/Dec just to make the 2025 goals to finish one or both of them easier to accomplish.

8/18/24

I've met my August goal for Elizabeth Hall with 529 stitches.  I just have the last alphabet and Elizabeth's information.  It's all over one on 46ct so it's going to take a minute.

Sarah Rickwood is next.

7/21/24

I've made lots of nice progress this weekend.

I started Stitch from CherryWood Design Studios  on 7/18 and plan to come back every month until it's done then start the next.

Then I pulled out Elizabeth Hall for another 638 stitches

Sea Witch is back out now so I can meet its goal then move onto a couple more yearly goals yet this month.

June goal met for Elizabeth Hall with 799 stitches

Sunday, May 26, 2024

5/25/24

Added 699 stitches to Elizabeth Hall for May and it's now approximately 47.88% complete.  PK doesn't recognize the over 1 stitches correctly and I don't care enough to count everything to make sure it's correct so we're going to syich with approximately.

Margret Croft is next.

Update on Elizabeth Hall from the Wishing Thorn.

I've added 586 stitches which has me on track to finish by the end of 2024.

Nightshade is out now to progress towards where I want to crop her to call her a finish.

Gotta live how much you can accomplish with three days PTO and no one else at home!

I added 763 stitches  to Elizabeth Hall and finished the top border and first row of alphabet.

Then Chatelaine's Heritage Sampler came out and I met my goal with 292 additional stitches.

Ann Tong Uffiindell is out now.  I'm hoping to meet my goal for her today.

3/19/24

Last night, I met my March goal on Sea Witch with 1160 tent stitches and 32.11% complete.

Looking at my WIP makes me want to push my progress a little faster but at the same time I really don't want to burn out which I'm struggling with a little.  For now, I'm going to keep hitting my goals since they aren't huge and rotating to keep my interest.

I met with a couple of local stitchers Saturday and one from the PA.  Instead of bringing Sea Witch, I brought Elizabeth Hall.  I didn't have a lot of progress for about 3 hours of stitching but I think we all had a good time.

Warrior Alice is out now.  I'm curious if my 1000 tent stitches will get me close to another page finish.

3/5/24

After I put Daybreak away, I pulled Loneliness of Autumn back out to plug away at my monthly stitches.  It's been slow since I didn't want to frog where I went wrong in January.

Then I went on a work trip for a week.  I did bring a new start of Elizabeth Hall 1809 from The Wishing Thorn.

Sadly though, I only managed 11 stitches while we were there because working 90 hours in a week doesn't leave much time for anything but sleep.

I did manage a few more at the airport on the way home

Loneliness of Autumn got another day's progress since it was still on my stand.  I've now met my January goal on it!  Yay!

Then I put it away.  He Came With the Rain is out for it's March progress.
