5/25/26

Ive had a good weekend even all the normal weened stuff.

Ive met my goal for Trick or Treat from Paine Free Crafts with1056 tent/528 full x stitches

I could quite bring myself to finish the page so if I have time yet this year, I'll have to pull this one back out for a bit for that page finish.

I also met my goal for Ann Grimshaw from The Scarlett Letter yesterday with 555 stitches

She's another one that need to come back out since it was late and I didn't finish the motif when I met my goal last night.

Pledge of Allegience from Plum Street is out today since it seems pretty appropriate for Memorial Day.

This weekend, I met my 2025 goal for Ann Grimshaw with 656 stitches

and Matilda Isabella Creasy with 522 stitches.

I've picked Loara Standish back up to try and finish the band I've been working on.

While I was looking for something else this weekend, I discovered I have finished the other two Paragon kits  - Summer Berry Patch and Winter Quilt and Patch.

Once I have them all done, they're going to be visiting with some Oxyclean, I think to see if I can get the discoloration out.

7/31/24

Goal met for Ann Grimshaw with 662 stitches.

 Jane Charlotte Wynn is next.

Since it's the end of July, I've been looking at all the stitching I've accomplished this month and I've added at least 500 stitches to 17 of my projects.  Wow!  Other than the projects I touch monthly, I only have 4 projects left that haven't gotten their 500 stitches which is, IMO, awesome.  I'm hoping to get all the untouched projects touched this month along with my monthly stitching and start going down the list again to see if I can touch them all again before the end of the year.

There's something to be said for having a focus project and the time you have after your goal is met to work on other WIPs.

I havent added a lot to Ann Grimshaw but she got some love and that's what counts.

Next, I pulled out Nightshade.   Not sure how much time she'll get, but it will more than she got yesterday.
