Yesterday, I met my goal for The Forgotten from Charting Creations with 1082 tent/541 full x stitches.  This WIP is now 15.94% complete.

I don't know if I can tell the difference from my last picture of this WIP since I was mainly filling in some of the missing stitches.

Chatelaine's Blue Moroccan Lace is out next.

I've been happily stitching away and have met some goals.

The Forgotten from Charting Creations has gotten some love.  Not as much as I would have liked but I put it on my q-snaps and just wasn't feeling it.  Something else was calling.

Next was Sarah Elizabeth Brooke from The Scarlett House.  1x1 on 40ct is something else.  But there's less of it for next time.

Then Sarah Breazier from HATS.  I added two pages and finished out the top row.
She's a big girl!

Then Jane Fiddes also from HATS came out.  Again not a lot of love but she got a little progress.

This morning, I pulled out Warrior Alice from Eclectic Bloke (OOP).  Instead of starting on page 8, where I left off, I started on page 12 on the far right, in the background.  I'm not ready for the confetti in Alice's dress so background it is.

I've met my September goal of Mermaid of the Deep.  She's now 83.26% complete.

Then I pulled The Forgotten from Carting Creations.  Not a lot of progress but I've met my goal.

Page 2 of The Forgotten from Charting Creations is complete.

Autumn Quakers got a little more progress and I finished several more motifs.

I also added some more stitches to He Came with the Rain; less than 100 though so no picture this time.

Then, The Forgotten from Charting Creations came out.  This one has kept my attention for almost a week trying to finish page 2.  I'm hoping to do that tonight.

Current progress

I also dyed fabric last week for Plague Doctor from Unconvention XStitch.  I didn't want to use plain white to prevent fabric show though from being as obvious.  So my white fabric was dunked in black RIT and should work fine.

Last weekend after my last page finish of

Warrior Alice, I pulled out Anna Sophia Bircham 1871.  I frogged and restitched the yellow and added another flower in the border before I moved on.

I put a length of thread into The Forgotten from Charting Creations

Then I picked up He Came With the Rain by Unconventional XStitch  and finished page 4

This will stay out for now as I'd like to finish page 5 before putting it away.

Sea Witch continues to get at least a few daily stitches and I may go back to ot after the next page of He Came With the Rain.

12/2/19

Last week I was of work and while I didn't get a huge amount of stitching done, I still managed to meet my remaining goals for 2019.

I'm fascinated how she looks front and back since I'm still managing to stitch her reversibly.  I'm planning to finish this blue motif at least before I pull something else out.

Creeping ever closer

I'm slowly working my way towards a page finish on The Forgotten.  The one little stitch at the bottom left is where the bottom of the page is.  Will I make it before the end of the year?  I certainly hope so.

I've also taken a picture of my floss toss for the Polar Mandala.  I'm using plain white 28 ct Monaco but I think there is going to be plenty of sparkle to make up for any shortcomings.

Pretty!

The Forgotten

I've made pretty steady progress on The Forgotten over the last week.  There were a couple of days where I didn't pull it out of my bag but I'm almost a third of the way done with page 1.  Right now, all I'm doing is dark blues and greens.  I'm looking forward to other colors.

I've also been talking to a friend about New Year's starts.  She's planning on starting Caribbean soon and I've been kicking around the idea of starting a new Chatelaine as well.  Polar Mandala has been high on the list.  I even bobbinated the DMC for it this weekend.  Now, I'm debating about pulling a different one out.  I need to go spend some time with my kits and make a decision.

Until next time...

Sea Witch

Last night I finished page 2 of Sea Witch.

I almost kept her out since most of the next page is black and would not have taken long to do but there are lots of other things to stitch!

The Forgotten from Tilton Crafts came out next.  It was one of my new starts this year and only had a few stitches in it.

As it turns out. Those were the wrong color so I frogged them and restitched them in the correct color.

Woodland Wonder, new starts

I've almost finished Woodland Wonder!!  I just have to finish the beading and I'll have my first finish for 2017.

Here's all the stitching complete

First tree beaded

Here's as far as I got on the second tree before it got too late.

The beads definitely change the look of the trees.  They were kind of drab before the beads were added.

On January 1, I was still obsessed with Woodland Wonder.  I had a couple of kits on the coffee table waiting for my New Year's start, but I didn't manage much.  I put a few stitches into He Came With the Rain by Unconventional XS

I also put a few more stitches into The Forgotten by Charting Creations

Update on Tilton's The Master

Last night saw me creeping up on a page finish on Tilton's The Master.

I'm hoping another evening or two will get me there.

Yesterday, I pulled and zigzagged fabric for a new start SAL in the Facebook group Cross Stitch and Discuss.  It's for a new Tilton start on September 30.  I have all the floss already.  It's not bobbined yet, but I may just bobbin what I need as I need it.  I haven't really felt like bobbining thread.  I chose to do Feathers in the Wind since I already had the chart.

While I had the sewing machine out, I also zig zagged fabric for Charting Creations The Forgotten since I think it will be my New Years start for 2017.

Is it wrong to be thinking about a New Year's start already??
